Dr. R.Suresh was born on 25.12.1966, in a reputed family belonging to the Hindu Reddiar Community, to Thiru.K.Radha Krishnan and Tmty.R.Radhammal. He was sent to St.Xaviers Higher secondary School, palayamkottai for school education where he represented the Tamilnad Foot-ball team as its captain. He continued his studies in St.Johns College, palayamkottai. When he took part in various state level competitions.
He has been a Grade I, Government State level contractor in TWAD Board, Tamilnad. He held the prestigious post of the President of Reddiarpati Reddiar Sangam for Three years. Even though he hails from an agricultural background, he contributes a sum of Rs.1,00,000 every year for various social activities including temple renovations. He was awarded honorary doctorate, “Doctor of Social Work” by International Peace University, Germany, on 23.12.2017.
He has been an active, member of the present college management committee since 2012.
